You may remember but this time 2 years ago I had a slight issue with my heart. I had a number of hospital visits before Harefield Hospital performed some lifesaving, cutting edge surgery on my heart.

Harefield Hospital relies on charity donations to fund innovative treatment, equipment and research at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, that fall outside of NHS funding. My treatment was only possible due to the charities work.

I want to support the work they do, and to help them in their work I will be taking part in the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon.

A run that starts by Pall Mall, finishes by Downing Street and has fantastic views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.

Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals are the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe. With your support we can be there to provide equipment and fund research to treat heart and lung disease and make the hospital experience more comfortable for patients. Neil Cutting
