Our partner hospitals are internationally recognised for their care and expertise. With a shared history of pioneering treatment going back over 200 years, they’re home to some of the world’s leading surgeons, consultants and medical teams.
Based in Chelsea and Harefield, our hospitals employ more than 3500 staff and treat thousands of patients every year.
Between them, they have 10 operating theatres, 10 catheter labs and 480 beds. Royal Brompton is Europe’s largest treatment centre for cystic fibrosis, while Harefield runs one of the world’s biggest heart and lung transplants centres, backed by decades of expertise.

Both hospitals lead research into the causes and treatment of heart and lung conditions. At Harefield, this includes close work with the Heart Science Centre. And at Royal Brompton, the main principal research partner is the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College.
