Bask in the warm glow of giving – literally – by signing up for our first ever Neon Night Run on 7 March. Registration is now open!

We’ve joined up with the wonderful Brunel Volunteers, of Brunel University, who have cultivated this spectacular event over the past few years. Brunel Volunteers work closely with local charities and organisations to develop and facilitate volunteering opportunities for students. We’re delighted that they have chosen to work with us this year and raise awareness of our hospitals among their student population and the local community.

Students, staff and Charity supporters alike are encouraged to dig out their brightest clothing, cover themselves in neon paint (provided in the registration pack) and run a simple 5km course around the University campus. Kicking off at 7.30pm, the resulting effect is hundreds of glow-in-the-dark figures lighting up the dark March sky.

We’ve been secretly working behind the scenes for the past few weeks to get everything ready, so we’re delighted to be able to announce that registration is now open.

If you want to be part of this special event – which ends with a party at the University’s student union – then click here to sign up today. All we ask is that you pay a small registration fee of £13 and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £50.

All proceeds will go directly towards extending Harefield Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit by six bedrooms enabling 250 additional patients to be treated on the Unit each year.

If you’d rather not run, but would like to support the Charity in another way, perhaps you’d like to volunteer at this event. If you have an hour or two to spare on the evening of the 7 March, then we’d love to hear from you. Please email [email protected].
